Elli by thai-binturong Elli by thai-binturong
Hi!

So... I don't really know who he is. But he's Elizaur :)

The yellow creature is needle felted of merino wool over wire armature, eyes are handmade of polymer clay.

After adding some varnish a bit later his eyes should be more glossy :)

He is 19 cm / 7,5 inch tall and about 23 cm / 9 inch long.

Some more pics here

The back pattern [link] and [link]
And the trunk again [link]

He is available for adoption here on etsy [link] and ebay [link]

I must ask, I heard that in making posable creatures you need to use certain wool so that they are usually bendable. Is that true of is almost any fairly good quality good?

Uh well, i've never heard of that actually... I don't really think that the wool quality means a lot in that case. It should not be coarse, yep, so usual fine wool is okey i guess. But you definetely need good wire))
