This is quite awesome, by the way.

Hi! thx))
well.. i don't really have a tutorial, but it's all about wrapping the wool around some wire armature). The thing is how old the kids are? this craft is connected to some very sharp needles and some not so nice finger pricking))

Now that you say this, they are to young for pokey stuff. One is 7 and the other will be 5 next friday. :aww:
But still, ZI do like this idea... I'll have to look into something similar, but less sharp =p
Thanks for responding and telling me more about the creative process. It's really great stuff you do - I did travell your gallery a bit.

I think I found a nice way actually. Shortly after I saw your crat art, I went searching through some old boxes we still have packed due to extreme lack of space, and found some... I don't know what you call it, but it looks like ... garden mesh? It's plastic (I think) and its the size of a regular piece of white printing paper, and it has hundreds of holes in it? Like you could make a design using yarn or wool.. and these plastic sheets are all different colours and easy to cut and trim carefully to save from any possible injury on their delicate skin. I forget what it's called, however I've seen something similar for gardening, only that stuff comes on rolls.
In this box, there is near 200 sheets of this stuff... SO I think we'll start out by making a Kleenx box decorative cover, maybe something for the bathroom I would love to get a picture of a transformer and use a sharpie and trace it onto these sheets and have my boys build a transformer - 3 dimensional. But I will have to make one first and then have enough props for three more. They are loving and sharing but not with something like this... I'll build them a small box car with a craft engine and a battery - they will love that and that can be a dual project ...maybe. They are siblings and boys and under the age of 8 years so...
Thank you for your craft art! If not for that, I might not have remembered these sheets or all the yarn and wool I did purchase for them... I'll save the pokey stuff for later on. !!
